As the company name implies, our focus is periodic inspection/certification of mobile cranes in accordance with OSHA, state and industry standards. However, please don't let that discourage you from contacting us for any lifting equipment you may have, because if it lifts, it most likely requires inspection and we have been performing inspections on all types of lifting equipment since 1998.
This list is not all encompassing but does provide some examples.
Inspections are conducted at your facility or job site. In all cases the inspections are thorough and comprehensive. For each machine inspected, we will provide a complete report identifying any deficiencies noted and apply an inspection sticker identifying date of inspection and expiration date for that inspection. At the conclusion of the inspection(s) we will review our findings and concerns with you or your designated representative and take the time to answer any questions you may have. Results of inspections are confidential between you and GCI unless you choose otherwise (Washington state certifications require us to submit inspection results to the state).
We do ask that you have an operator present to assist us in certification of your equipment and a known weight available if load testing will be performed. And in the case of overhead cranes we ask that you provide safe means of access to the hoist (scissor lift, man lift, ladder, etc.)
Pricing is based on type, capacity, location and amount of equipment to be inspected. Please contact us for a quote.
Payment is due upon completion of inspection. We do accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover).
Need some training hours for your safety program? Something to bring the old hands up to speed on current (and often changing) requirements, or introduction and familiarization for new folks to keep them out of harms way. Our trainer is a military veteran with years of experience in technical and safety training.
Our most requested is a 4 hour Basic Crane Safety class. It covers worksite and crane preparation, setup, operation, load charts, basic rigging and OSHA hand signals. Includes a workbook packed with reference material and a certificate of training upon completion. 6 student minimum. Conducted at your facility.
Please contact us with your specific training needs. If we don't have a course to satisfy them, we may be able to create one.
